How to get the best motorbike rental deals
- Message a day before, not on the morningThat is the whole condition for the 10% off. It also means the bike gets checked, oiled and fuelled before it reaches you rather than pulled off the rack.
- Say how long you are stayingSeven days or more moves you onto a weekly rate; a month moves you onto the monthly one. Do not book day by day and hope it adds up.
- Say what you plan to rideTown only, or Hai Van Pass? The right bike costs less than the wrong bike breaking your day.
- Ask for the swap if you are in the Old Town a lotPeople forget this one and pay for parking all week.

Free Old Town parking, explained
Hoi An closes the Ancient Town to motorbikes during several windows each day, and the paid lots around it charge per entry. Ride in and out a few times and it adds up — and you still have to find a lot with space.
Renters with us ride back to 84 Phan Chau Trinh, leave the bike, and walk in. It is a few minutes on foot to the edge of the Old Town, it costs nothing, and there is no limit on how many times you do it in a day.

What motorbike rental deals do you offer in Hoi An?

How do I get the 10% discount?
Message us at least 24 hours before you want the bike and mention HOIANIT10. Nothing to sign up for. Booking last minute is usually still possible, but without the discount and with less choice of bike.
Is there a discount for renting a week or a month?
Yes. Seven days gets you up to 15% off the daily rate, thirty days up to 30%. For longer than a month, message us and we will quote the bike rather than count days.
Do I need a licence to rent in Hoi An?
For anything over 50cc you need a Vietnamese licence, or your home licence plus a 1968-convention International Driving Permit. Electric bikes, 50cc bikes and bicycles need no licence at all — which is why most short-stay visitors take one.
Is delivery to my hotel really free?
Yes, anywhere in central Hoi An — hotels, homestays and villas. We bring the bike, show you the controls and the kill switch, and you ride off from the door. Outside the centre, message us and we will quote the trip.
What is the free bicycle swap?
On a day you are only in the Ancient Town, come to the office and swap your motorbike for a bicycle or electric bike at no charge, then swap back when you want the motorbike again. Subject to availability — weekend mornings are when bicycles run out.
What happens if the bike breaks down?
Call us. We come to you anywhere around Hoi An, fix it on the spot or swap the bike. You do not pay for a mechanic and you do not lose the day.
Is fuel included in the price?
No. Bikes go out with fuel in the tank and you return them roughly as you found them. A full tank on a scooter is about 70,000₫ and takes you a long way — Hoi An to Da Nang and back barely dents it.
