A. Driver’s Responsibility
- You must hold a valid driving licence applicable to the vehicle category you are renting. Foreign visitors should carry an International Driving Permit (IDP 1968) issued under the 1968 Vienna Convention.
- Minimum age to rent: 18 years old.
- You are responsible for all traffic fines, penalties, and violations incurred during the rental period.
- Wearing a helmet is mandatory at all times while riding.
- Riding under the influence of alcohol or drugs is strictly prohibited.
- You must not sub-rent, lend, or transfer the motorbike to any third party.
- The motorbike must be kept safe and securely locked when not in use.
- By receiving the bike, you confirm that you have read and accepted these motorbike rental terms.
B. Scooter & Motorbike
- Please inspect the motorbike thoroughly before departure and report any existing damage to our staff.
- No modifications, alterations, or tampering with the motorbike are permitted.
- Off-road use is not permitted unless the model is specifically designed for it.
- The motorbike must be used for personal transportation purposes only.
- You are responsible for fuel costs during the rental period, unless the Full Tank add-on is selected.
C. Delivery & Pickup
- Free self-pickup at our office: 84 Phan Chau Trinh, Hoi An.
- Hotel / door delivery is available for 30,000 VND within Hoi An city.
- Delivery and pickup hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM daily.
- The motorbike must be returned at the agreed location and time.
- Late returns are charged at one additional rental-day rate per 24 hours overdue.
- Please notify us at least 2 hours in advance if you need to change your return time or location.
D. Payments & Security Deposit
- Full payment is required at the time of pickup.
- A security deposit of 2,000,000 VND (or a copy of your passport) is required.
- The deposit is fully refunded upon return of the motorbike in the same condition.
- No refund is given for early returns, unless agreed upon in advance. For cancellations and refunds, please see our Refund & Returns Policy.
- Accepted payment methods: cash (VND) or bank transfer.
E. Damages & Charges
- You are financially responsible for all damage to the motorbike, regardless of fault.
- In the event of an accident, contact us immediately before making any payment to police or third parties.
- Do not admit liability or pay any fine or compensation without first consulting us.
- Motorbike insurance (if purchased) covers partial repair costs — refer to insurance terms for details.
- In the event of theft or total loss, the replacement cost will be charged to you.
- Minor scratches and normal wear are exempt; significant damage will be assessed and charged at cost of repair.
F. Breakdown & Roadside Assistance
Our motorbike rental terms include free roadside support for technical faults:
- If the motorbike breaks down due to a technical fault, call or WhatsApp us immediately — we provide free roadside assistance within Hoi An and the nearby beach areas.
- For technical faults, we repair the bike on the spot or deliver a free replacement motorbike so your trip can continue.
- Flat tyres caused by road debris are the renter’s responsibility; local repair shops typically charge 20,000–60,000 VND.
- If the bike will not start, please check the kill switch and fuel level before calling — most issues take one minute to fix.
- Never abandon the motorbike on the road; move it to a safe place and contact us right away.
G. Insurance & Liability
Our motorbike rental terms include the following insurance rules:
- All bikes carry the compulsory third-party civil liability insurance required by Vietnamese law.
- Optional damage insurance can be added at pickup and reduces your liability for accidental damage to the bike.
- Insurance never covers riding under the influence, racing, off-road use, unlicensed riding, or intentional damage.
- Personal travel insurance is strongly recommended — check that your policy covers motorbike riding in Vietnam with your licence class.
- Helmets are provided free and must be worn; claims can be rejected if you ride without one.
H. One-Way & Long-Term Rentals
The same motorbike rental terms apply to one-way and long-term hires, with a few additions:
- One-way rentals (Hoi An → Da Nang or Hue) are available on selected models; a one-way fee is confirmed at booking.
- The bike must be returned to the agreed drop-off point; our staff will check it and confirm your deposit refund.
- Luggage transfer between cities can be arranged for one-way customers.
- Long-term rentals of one week or more receive discounted rates; monthly rentals include a free maintenance check.
- Deposits for long-term rentals may be higher depending on the model.
I. Safety & Local Riding Rules
Beyond the motorbike rental terms above, please follow these local riding rules:
- Urban speed limits are 40–50 km/h; police checkpoints are common on the beach roads.
- Always carry your licence, IDP and rental contract while riding.
- During heavy rain or flooding in the Ancient Town, avoid flooded streets — engine water damage is not covered.
- Park only in designated areas; parking fines or towing fees are the renter’s responsibility.

If any point is unclear, please ask our staff before signing the rental form — we are happy to explain everything in English or Vietnamese, and a printed copy of the contract is always available at pickup so you can keep it during your trip.
