Hoi An – My Son Tour
My Son Hindu Sanctuary, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is a great sample of the ancient Champa civilization located in the southern part of Vietnam. My Son is about 50 kilometers away from Hoi An. About 70 big and small temples had been built, establishing My Son as a sanctuary of Hinduism in the Champa Kingdom. Cham Pa culture had a big influence on Vietnam’ significance of cultural value. My Son was also a political center and a royal burial ground and the complex consists of more than 70 structures devoted to Hindu gods and goddesses and the most noticeable one, Shiva, was considered the protector of the Champa’s kings. Depart: 7h45 from Hoi An Finish 14h-14h15 at Hoi An
7:45 – 8:15: Our Minivan and a tour guide pick you up at your hotel and depart to My Son Sanctuary – The World Cultural Heritage.
9:30: Arrive at My Son and we’ll have 2 hours to discover the site by walking throughout the landscape, learning histories with our local English speaking guide, enjoying the Champa’s traditional performances.
11:45: Get back to mini van and move to a local house to learn how to make ricepaper, you will enjoy your own hand-making product later on!
12:30: Back to the van and have lunch at another local house. relax with cold herbal tea, nice foods and fresh air.
13:30 take a boat trip to Hoi An with nice and cool breeze on boarding, beautiful river scenery on the biggest river in the Central of vietnam named as Thu Bon River.
14:00: arrive in Hoi An, we will drop you off at your hotel. Tour ends!

ITNERARY of MY SON SANCTUARY SUNSET TOUR
Depart: 13h00 from Hoi An Finish 18h-18h30 at Hoi An
1:00 pm – 1:30 pm: Our Minivan and a tour guide pick you up at your hotel and depart to My Son Sanctuary – The World Cultural Heritage.
3:00 pm: Arrive at My Son and we’ll have 2 hours to discover the site by walking throughout the landscape, learning histories with our local English speaking guide, enjoying the Champa’s traditional performances.
5:15 pm: Get back to mini van then transfer to the wharf for taking a boat trip to Hoi An with nice and cool breeze on boarding, beautiful sunset river scenery on the biggest river in the Central of vietnam named as Thu Bon River. Get your camera ready for the amazing moment of local people activies along the river
6:30 pm : arrive at Hoi An, we will drop you at your hotel. Tour ends!

Things to note when you book a shuttle bus from Hoi An to My Son
- There is free Apsara dance show: 9.30 AM and 10.30 AM.
- Bring mosquito repellent
- You have to walk to the site (around 1km). Please wear shoes or sandals
- Be sure to visit the Cham Museum in Danang. Some of My Son’s most amazing works are located there.
- You should bring suntan, hat, sunglass and insect repellent, some water bottle.
