Monthly Motorbike Rental in Hoi An: Prices, What’s Included, How It Works (2026)
Monthly motorbike rental Hoi An: 30% less than the daily rate, with servicing, two helmets and 24/7 roadside support included. Here is what each bike costs and how a long-term rental actually runs.
A month in Hoi An is a different kind of stay. You stop counting days, you find the café you like in Trà Quế, and the bike stops being a tourist prop and becomes the way you get to work, to the beach and to the market. Monthly motorbike rental Hoi An is priced for exactly that: you pay roughly 30% less per day than a walk-in rental, and the servicing that a bike needs over four weeks is ours to worry about, not yours.
What monthly motorbike rental Hoi An costs
Every bike in our fleet has a published daily rate. Stay a week and you pay about 10% less per day; stay 30 days or more and the rate drops by about 30%. The daily figures below are the current rates from our own booking system — the monthly column is that rate less 30%, so you can see roughly where you will land before you message us.

What is included for a month
The point of a long-term rental is that the bike stays somebody else’s problem. Included with every monthly rental:
- Routine servicing and repairs — oil changes, brakes, tyres, mechanical faults. If it breaks, we fix it or swap the bike.
- 24/7 roadside support — breakdown help beyond 10 km is included, around Hội An and Đà Nẵng.
- Two helmets, raincoats, phone holder and a paper map — the same kit as any Anh Khoa rental.
- Free bike swap — take a bicycle or e-bike for Ancient Town days, or change model if your plans change, subject to availability.
- Delivery to your door from 30,000₫ anywhere in Hội An, or pick up at 84 Phan Châu Trinh.
- Free motorbike parking when you visit the Ancient Town.
Fuel is the one thing that is yours. On a month of ordinary Hội An riding — beach, market, a café out in the fields — most people spend far less on petrol than they expect.
Which bike to take for a month
Short trips forgive a bad choice; a month does not. Three honest recommendations:
If you are here to work and live: a Honda Vision or Air Blade. Automatic, light, easy to park in the Old Town lanes, cheap to run, and comfortable enough for a daily ride to Đà Nẵng. This is what most long-stay guests end up on.
If you have no motorcycle licence: a 50cc Kymco Like or SYM Shark, or the VinFast electric. Both are legal to ride without any licence, both are quiet, and both handle the flat roads between the town, the beach and the rice fields perfectly well. They are not the bike for the Hải Vân Pass.
If weekends matter more than weekdays: a Honda Winner 150 or a Yamaha XS155R. Manual, more power, and far more pleasant on a long mountain run — but heavier to thread through the Ancient Town on a Tuesday morning.
Licence rules on a long stay
The law does not change because you stay longer. For anything over 50cc you need a Vietnamese licence, or your home licence together with an International Driving Permit issued under the 1968 Vienna Convention. An IDP issued under the 1949 Geneva Convention — the kind issued in the USA, Canada and Australia — is not recognised in Vietnam.
Below 50cc, and on every electric bike, no licence is required at all. That is why so many long-stay guests take a 50cc or an e-bike: it is the option that is fully legal on day one, with no paperwork to chase. If you are here for months and plan to ride a bigger bike, converting to a Vietnamese licence is worth asking us about.

Made for nomads, expats and slow travellers
A bike is the difference between being stuck near your accommodation and actually living here. With a long-term rental you ride to An Bàng for sunrise, work from a café in Trà Quế or Cẩm Thanh, run errands in Đà Nẵng, and take the Đà Nẵng road or the Hải Vân Pass at the weekend — without ownership papers, servicing bills or the problem of selling a bike when you leave.
Flying in first? We deliver to Đà Nẵng too. If you would rather stay on two quiet wheels around town, our bicycle rental and electric bike rental run on the same monthly terms.
Monthly motorbike rental Hoi An: FAQ
How much does a monthly motorbike rental cost in Hoi An?
Monthly rentals at Anh Khoa cost about 30% less than the daily rate. Daily rates start from 110,000₫ for a budget scooter and 180,000₫ for an automatic like the Honda Vision, so a month works out at roughly 77,000₫ and 126,000₫ a day. Message us on WhatsApp or Zalo with your bike and dates for the exact quote.
Is maintenance included in a long-term rental?
Yes. Routine servicing, oil changes and mechanical repairs are covered by us. If anything goes wrong, bring the bike to our shop at 84 Phan Châu Trinh or we will swap it — 24/7 roadside support is included.
Do I need a licence for a monthly rental?
For bikes over 50cc you need a valid motorcycle licence plus a 1968-Convention IDP. Our electric bikes and 50cc scooters require no licence at all — a popular choice for long-stay guests.
What deposit is required for monthly rental?
The same as any rental: a refundable deposit of 2,000,000₫ or a copy of your passport. We never keep your original passport, and the deposit is returned in full at the end of your rental.
Can I swap bikes during my monthly rental?
Yes — swap for a bicycle or e-bike for Ancient Town days, or switch to a different model if your plans change, subject to availability. Just message us a day ahead.
Can I ride to Da Nang with a monthly rental?
Of course. Đà Nẵng, Mỹ Sơn, the Marble Mountains and the Hải Vân Pass are all popular rides. The bike stays with you the whole month — day trips and overnight trips are no problem.
Can I extend or end the rental early?
Both. Extend month by month at the same rate, or return the bike early — we just ask for two hours’ notice so we can send someone to collect it. Cancellation before pickup is free, with a full refund.
